The Triton Knoll OFTO is a transmission asset connecting the 857MW Triton knoll Offshore wind farm to the mainland grid
The Triton Knoll Transmission Assets include two offshore substations, two 220kV subsea export cable circuits (approximately 50km in length), which connect to two onshore cable circuits (of approximately 57km in length), one onshore substation, and two 400kV export cable circuits connecting the onshore substation to the National Grid Bicker Fen onshore substation.
The WTGs are connected via strings of 66kV array cables to two 66kV/220kV Offshore Substation Platforms (OSP) (East and West) which are supported by monopile foundations. From the OSPs, two 220kV subsea export cables with a length of approximately 50km from the OSPs to shore join the onshore cables at the Transition Joint Bay (TJB).
